The beginning of a new year is often welcomed with much anticipation and excitement for things we hope to accomplish or see happen in this new time we have been given. Yet, as we get back into the routines of life and the reality that our struggles haven’t ceased (usually sometime between February and the end of March) we often loose this anticipation and excitement, only to find ourselves right back where we were before. The anticipation and excitement are traded in for discouragement and disappointment. For some, this discouragement may lead to depression and feelings of being a failure. Continue reading…
