The Center for Biblical Living is committed to our mission: we exist to serve the local church by providing biblical counseling and enrichment care for ministry leaders around the world. The work of the worldwide church can take a toll on its servants.

Out of ten seminary students beginning vocational ministry:

•      Two will drop out due to debt and financial pressure. 
•      Two will not last more than five years due to burnout. 
•      One will experience a forced resignation and drop out of ministry. 
•      One will not last more than three years due to family issues or job conflicts. 

It’s weighty to consider that statistically, only 4 out of 10 new ministers will continue in their calling past the first years.*

We’re praying for more in 2024. More opportunities to counsel ministry leaders burdened by sin and suffering, more chances to encourage weary pastors and missionaries, more marriages and families strengthened through counsel from God’s Word, and more proactive counsel and mentoring for young ministers preparing for missions or the pastorate.

• Hiring more counselors to extend our accessibility in the United States and worldwide. 
• Establishing a partnership with another seminary like we currently have with The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Seminary partnerships allow us to be strategically proactive in helping aspiring pastors, church staff, and missionaries before they begin vocational ministry. 
• Improving and enhancing our technology systems to more efficiently serve ministry leaders. 

We are praying for extraordinary year-end giving to help us achieve these expansion goals. Each person participating will be an invaluable partner in helping strengthen the church by strengthening church leaders.
