Tom received an MA in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Tom and Robyn entered full-time ministry in 1997. They have served on staff at various churches and with Family Life, a subsidiary of CRU from 2005-2018. They founded the Center for Biblical Living in 2018 because of their strong passion to help those already in or preparing for vocational ministry. They were married in 1995 and have three daughters, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Bill & Cindy Starr
Bill received two master’s degrees, one in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the other in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Cindy received her Master’s in Education. Bill and Cindy have served together in ministry throughout their marriage. They have a deep commitment to discipleship and to the power of God’s Word. They have three married daughters and eight grandchildren.
Karen was born and raised in Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2010. After graduating, she spent time as a missionary in Africa and worked for a church in the Chicago area before moving to Louisville in 2016 to attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She graduated this past December with her MA in Biblical Counseling and is currently in the final phase of her ACBC certification. She is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and serves in their children’s and counseling ministries. In her free time, Karen enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, spending quality time with friends, being outdoors, and cooking and eating good food. She is excited for the opportunity to grow as a biblical counselor and serve with CBL.
Allie received a master of arts from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. She has served in various administrative and vocational ministry roles at non-profit organizations as well as her local church. Allie serve as executive assistant to Tom and Robyn Scott and oversees the operations management of CBL. She and her husband, Nathan, were married in 2015 and live in Louisville, KY.
Carrie received her Bachelor’s degree from Bethel University in Biblical and Theological Studies. She has served in many different capacities in the past, including teaching, project management, and coaching. Carrie handles the design aspects of CBL. Carrie and her husband, Lukas, were married in 2014 and live in Louisville, KY with their two young boys.
