Big Changes Are Happening!

It has been thirteen years since the Lord first led us to join the staff at FamilyLife.  At that time our vision was cloudy but our call to go was made resoundingly clear. We were a bit hesitant at first as it didn’t make sense to us not to be in the local church, but in faith and obedience, we followed the Lord.  During these past thirteen years, the Lord has refined us and has brought to focus our vision. In 2010 we began to place our focus on ministry marriages by developing the Pastor sessions at FamiyLife’s Weekend to Remember getaways.  Then in 2012, the Lord allowed us to be involved in a partnership between FamilyLife and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY, to be proactive in reaching ministry marriages. This partnership has allowed us to see more clearly the need those who are in or preparing for vocational ministry (both married and single) have to be poured into, as they are tirelessly pouring out.  continue reading…
