Signs of A Pastor: Losing His Way—Part 4 of 4danerous calling cover

This is the last of four newsletters consisting of several insights from a book Robyn and I read called, Dangerous Calling: Confronting the Unique Challenges of Pastoral Ministry, written by Paul David Tripp.  This is a book we believe every pastor should read, especially with his spouse .

The sections we are sharing with you are to help equip you to care for, not criticize, your pastor and his family.  Hebrews 13:17 exhorts us to, “Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account.  Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you.”  Ministry families are families that need encouragement and care, not as supernatural figures, but as sinners saved by grace, just as you are (Romans 3:10-18).  Below are the next of Tripp’s nine Signs of a Pastor Losing His Way.
